What to expect

Players rotate tables and partners throughout the evening, giving you the chance to play with old friends while meeting new friends, and mix up your game. Scores are tracked throughout the league, with prizes and bragging rights up for grabs.

Doors open at 6 PM for drinks, appetizers, and mingling. League play begins shortly after and wraps up around 8:30 PM.

Leagues are intended for players who have completed Mahjong 101 and 102 or already know how to play American Mahjong using the current NMJL card. This isn’t a teaching class, but we’re always there to keep things moving and help you improve your game along the way.  We do not use blanks or extra jokers during league nights, so you really will amp up your game! 

Come for the mahj memories. Stay for the people, the themes, the laughs, and the excuse to have somewhere fun to be every week.

Do I need league experience?

We do not require league experience.  We do play by NMJL rules.  Please be sure to complete a 101 and 102 or have NMJL experience prior to joining our league

Do I have to attend every week?

We understand that life happens.  If it’s possible we would love for you to send a friend in your place to keep an even amount at all times. Please note if you miss a week refunds are not available and we do not prorate for registration. 

Can I sign up by myself?

Absolutely. Many players join individually and quickly become part of our Mahjong community.

How long is a league season?

Depending on the league it will typically run 3-4 weeks

Will there be standings or prizes?

Yes we love fun special moments and prizes !!
We also love a winner.

What if a league fills up?

Register early! Space is limited, and popular league sessions may sell out. We do not provide instructions or booking confirmation details.
