What to expect

Players rotate tables and partners throughout the evening, giving you the chance to play with old friends while meeting new friends, and mix up your game. Scores are tracked throughout the league, with prizes and bragging rights up for grabs.

Doors open at 6 PM for drinks, appetizers, and mingling. League play begins shortly after and wraps up around 8:30 PM.

Leagues are intended for players who have completed Mahjong 101 and 102 or already know how to play American Mahjong using the current NMJL card. This isn’t a teaching class, but we’re always there to keep things moving and help you improve your game along the way.  We do not use blanks or extra jokers during league nights, so you really will amp up your game!

Do I need league experience?

No. Players of all experience levels are welcome. We'll help place you in a league that's enjoyable and appropriate for your experience.

Do I have to attend every week?

Life happens. While we encourage regular attendance, we'll explain league policies before the season begins.

Can I sign up by myself?

Absolutely. Many players join individually and quickly become part of our Mahjong community.

How long is a league season?

Each league runs for six consecutive weeks with one scheduled session each week.

Will there be standings or prizes?

League details, standings, and any season prizes will be announced before registration opens.

What if a league fills up?

Register early! Space is limited, and popular league sessions may sell out.

Our Mahjmahall is located in St. Louis, Missouri. Detailed directions, parking information, and arrival instructions will be provided with your booking confirmation to help make your visit as easy as possible.
